This apparently entirely abstract image in Red and White actually took many months of hard physical work to produce. The many white marks on a red background are in fact as spotted by the Artist Steve Good on the front of a workman’s shirt. They were slowly created over time as the plasterer, working everyday on various building sites constantly wiped his hands on his chest during the course of his long days.Fascinated by the visual impact of the random image, the Artist offered to buy the very worn piece of clothing in exchange for a pint of beer.
