Didcot Last Tower Standing - Before the Blast 2019 - On 'Yer Bike

One last look at the Didcot power station before they blew them up. Then on 'yer bike and back to the studio to process the images whilst there was still time.

The result is we now have available a limited edition, numbered and handsigned orginal DigitOil on canvass available to all those of you who miss the iconic cooling towers that could be seen for so many miles, and so many years.

The series has just three images featuring the Power Station, two before and one after the blast. This all took place in the summer of 2019 when the Artist, Steve Good was enjoying working with a new digital printing technique and an expert friend who sells the £250,000 printers. Internationally famous Artist Jeffrey Kroll is also working with the same printer and the ability to manipulate the textures and impasto effect is truly outstanding and mind opening. It is early days as yet, so we will have to wait and see what comes of it all, but you can be one of the first to start collecting this modern evolving format technique.

Each canvass is hand embelished with additional paint and other effects before being given a protective coat of varnish. Then the finished canvas is hand numbered, signed and certified as an original Steve Good DigitOil.
